Scheiberling, Rogan & Maney was formed in 1958 by attorneys Edward N. Scheiberling, Edward G. Rogan, and Stephen A. Maney, a family law firm then and now.

We represent individuals and their families. Our goal is to provide quality legal services to our clients with personal attention to their needs.

Our firm concentrates its practice in the fields of estate planning and administration, real property, elder law, and vehicle and traffic law.

Edward N. Scheiberling was an attorney from 1912 to 1967. He was a former Albany City Court Judge and National Commander of the American Legion.

Edward G. Rogan was an attorney from 1924 to 1961. He was Albany County Surrogate Court Judge for 28 years.
Stephen A. Maney was an attorney from 1951 to 1994. He was the nephew of Edward N. Scheiberling and the son-in-law of Edward G. Rogan. He was also active in many civic and charitable organizations.

Scheiberling, Rogan & Maney was the successor to Scheiberling and Schneider. Edward N. Scheiberling and John M. Schneider, the principals, were cousins.

Gerard E. Maney was a member of Scheiberling, Rogan & Maney from 1978 to 1991, when he became Albany County Family Court Judge.

John E. Maney was associated with Scheiberling, Rogan & Maney from 1991 to 2000.

Patricia A. Baker is a legal secretary and paralegal for Scheiberling, Rogan & Maney. She has been employed with the firm since 1991. She has been a secretary since 1985.

Scheiberling, Rogan & Maney was associated with John S. Bartlett, Jr. Esq. since 1981. Mr. Bartlett was the former Albany County Clerk and practiced law for over 50 years.
